During an incredibly stressful life transition, I was fortunate enough to work with Erin and Kandis on securing a mortgage for a home purchase that would ultimately be the landing spot for my kids and I. Erin was great as my mortgage broker. She guided me through the process very well and when my deal to buy a house started to hit snags, and the closing date kept being changed, even past the end date of my mortgage agreement, she was able to negotiate with the lender to extend the end date while maintaining my original mortgage rate. As it happens, the deal to buy that house eventually fell through (because of negligence on the part of the seller and his real estate agent). When I was then forced to find a new home to buy on very short notice, Erin was able to secure me a new mortgage for the new property very quickly and at a very reasonable rate given current circumstances.

Erin was great to work with. As first-time home buyers on a new build, the entire process was new, scary, and frustrating given all the unknowns and last-minute information we got from the developers and lawyers. Luckily, we were referred to Erin by one of our friends, and she made the entire process better. As soon as we contacted Erin, we got a clear direction on what documents we will need for our mortgage, how much financing we can afford, and the tentative rates. After we sent her the preliminary information and documents she requested, we immediately got back pre-approvals and rate holds from different lenders. In between the pre-approvals and the actual closing, we had tons of questions, some of them that were not even related to our mortgage, and Erin was always available to listen to us and offer sound and solid advice if it was within her area of expertise. In very short order, Erin understood the nature of my transaction, what loan product would work best for me to meet my needs, and then she went out and found a competitive rate.  I had also shopped around, and worked with an experienced loan officer from my main bank as part of that process.  That was a totally different experience (i.e. not a good one).  Much better to work with a specialist like Erin who will offer you not only her expertise and stable of lenders, but her great personality!
